Frequently Asked Questions

The questions our inbox sees every week, answered in one place.

Fit & Sizing

How does YYA sizing run?

True to the chart, and the chart is the authority — not the size you wear in some other brand. Every piece runs XS to XXL against the same bust, waist and hip numbers, published in the fit guide on the home page. Measure once and the whole catalog is mapped.

I am between sizes. Up or down?

Up for sleepwear, lounge sets and cover-ups — ease is the point of all three. True to size for bodycon sequin skirts and strapless dresses, which rely on a close fit to stay put; sizing up a strapless piece is how a strapless piece falls down.

Are the nightgowns and cover-ups see-through?

Some are, by design — sheer mesh panels and babydolls in the nightwear, and open mesh knits among the cover-ups that are meant to show the swimsuit underneath. The product page says so plainly in the description, and pieces without mesh panels are ordinary opaque fabric. Nothing is see-through by accident.

Is the sequin fabric scratchy against the skin?

The sequin pieces are lined or backed with a soft knit exactly where they meet skin, and the sequins face outward. The edge of a sleeve or hem can feel textured to the touch — that is the nature of sequins — but the inside surface is fabric, not plastic.

Fabrics & Care

How do I wash lace and mesh without ruining them?

Cold gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag, or a hand wash in the sink; no bleach, no tumble dry, and never wring. Hooks and zippers on everything else in the load should be closed — open hardware is what tears lace. The full routine is in the care section on the home page.

What about sequins?

Hand wash inside out, hang or lay flat to dry, and never touch an iron to the sequin face — heat melts the backing threads. Stored inside out, a sequin skirt keeps its shine from one holiday season to the next.

Can any of it go in the dryer?

No. Tumble heat warps elastic, dulls satin and destroys sequin backing. Everything in the catalog dries on a hanger or flat on a towel within a day — the dryer saves an hour and costs the garment.

Ordering & Delivery

Who actually sells and ships the clothes?

Our retail partners. YYA designs the pieces; checkout, payment, warehousing and delivery run entirely through partner retail networks. The Shipping & Delivery page walks through the chain step by step.

How does payment work?

Payment is taken by the retail partner at their secure checkout — the usual cards and wallets the partner supports. The charge lands when the partner confirms the order, and any refund travels back the same route.

How long does delivery take?

Standard is 4–8 business days after the 1–2 day packing window at the partner warehouse, with faster options at the partner checkout. Ordering for a specific party date? Count backward from the date and pick the window that clears it — details on the Shipping & Delivery page.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Only before the partner warehouse hands the parcel to the carrier, and polybagged garments pack fast. Email hello@yya-store.pages.dev as soon as possible; once the delivery partner has the parcel, the returns process takes over.

What if it arrives damaged?

Photo to hello@yya-store.pages.dev within 7 days and the partner replaces or refunds free of charge. The Returns & Exchanges page has the details.
